ROANOKE CHURCH
SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST REFORM MOVEMENT
Wherever He Leads I'll Go
Have you ever had to make a decision that seemed life altering? Did you wonder why God led you to this point only to have your plans fall apart?
In 1936, two friends were attending a conference in Alabama sharing stories of how God was working in their lives. R.S. Jones, a missionary to Brazil, tearfully told his friend how a few days prior he received word that a health issue would prevent him from returning to South America. His friend and hymn writer, B. B. McKinney, asked Jones what he planned to do now. Heartbroken Jones responded, “Wherever He leads, I’ll go.”
McKinney was so touched by those words that he wrote the classic hymn that same day and sang it right after Jones finished his sermon.
Are you standing at what seems like a crossroad? You may not always know where God will lead but, should you choose to follow, He will be with you every step of the way!
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NKJV).
